About Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute:

Microsoft ExpressRoute allows you to establish dedicated connectivity to Azure from your colo at Stellium.

Once connected into ExpressRoute, you can create virtual interfaces directly to the Azure cloud, gaining access to many of the services offered by Azure, including Virtual machines, SQL databases, Azure Active Directory Domain services, Application services, Visual Studio team services and Storage.
